Our approach
We tailor regular consultations to your unique needs.
We start by focusing on understanding your operations and achieving early successes, such as increased sales, which foster positive change and set the stage for further targeted initiatives.

- 01
We start with the owner
Most of our clients come by referral. Sometimes we choose a business we want to work with. Either way, it begins with time together: I’ll show you how I read your business, and we’ll talk through the challenges and opportunities as you see them.
- 02
AI from the first day
I use AI in everything I do, and I’ll expect your team to as well. If they don’t know how yet, I’ll teach them.

- 03
The numbers come early
With your financials and transaction data, I build a baseline view of what’s actually happening in the business. It shapes the questions I ask next.
- 04
Then the team
I meet the people doing the work. We set goals together, and I keep learning how the business really runs.

- 05
A view and a plan
I bring you a point of view and a proposed plan. You push back, we adjust, and we begin.
- 06
Then the work
It’s fluid and unglamorous: rolling up my sleeves alongside your team and building on what they already do well. Where my management experience helps, I’ll weigh in on the team too.
What we’ll ask for
A baseline, built from what’s real.
Before any recommendation, we build a picture of what’s actually happening. That takes a few things from you.
Your financials
Recent statements and budgets, so the baseline starts from what actually happened.
Your transaction data
Sales, purchasing and whatever your systems record. Patterns show up here before they show up anywhere else.
Time with the team
An hour with the people who do the work tells me more than any report.
Willingness to try AI
Not expertise. If your team hasn’t used it yet, I’ll teach them as we go.
How the work takes shape
Whatever the business needs.
No two engagements look alike. The work can take any of these forms, and often more than one at once.
Projects
A defined problem with a beginning and an end.
Board seats
A standing seat at the table, bringing an outside view to the decisions that matter most.
Initiatives
A focused push on one thing that matters, like growth, a new product or AI across the team.
Operations
Hands-on work inside the day-to-day, alongside the people who run it.
